Today, the use of screw-feeding multihead weighers is well-established and appreciated with many manufacturers of fresh and sticky products. Cabinplant developed the first screw-feeding multihead weigher as a solution to a specific customer request and now multiple manufacturers of fresh and sticky products have recognised the value of this solution and the experience that Cabinplant has built up. Over the years, Cabinplant screw-feeding multihead weighers have been installed with more than 30 companies from Chile to Russia.

Ishida Europe has extended its range of solutions for the weighing and packing of fresh, sticky products with the introduction of a new range of ‘Screw Feed’ multihead weighers, which allows the fully automatic handling of these types of products for the first time.

During a ceremonious event in Oelde on December 18, 2007, the 5000th Haver & Boecker MEC III electronic weigher system was delivered to Dyckerhoff Cement GmbH. This jubilee electronic weigher system is part of a 2-spout INTEGRAÒ packing machine. The machine will go into operation in Neuwied, Germany and will be used for filling special binders for worldwide application in drilling technology.

At the automatic packaging of stick shaped products the weighing and dosing aggregates play an important role with regard to product gentle handling. The HASTAMAT Multihead-Combination weigher of the CP-series is the ideal weigher for weighing or counting of stick shaped, fragile products such as for example salted sticks, biscuit sticks, chocolate sticks, long pasta or technical articles.

The speed and accuracy of the Ishida Fresh Food Weigher (FFW) has enabled German manufacturer Geflügelhof Martin Zapf to double its production of ‘home-made’ fresh pasta whilst reducing product giveaway.
