For companies active in plastic and rubber technology, the Russian market remains one of the most dynamic in Europe. Above all it’s Russian industries that are close to the consumer such as construction, automotive engineering, consumer goods and packaging which are continually expanding. As a result, there is strong demand for plastics and rubber, including raw materials, the machinery to process them and semi-finished products. In Russia as well as its neighbouring countries, new plastics and rubber production capacity is being created and existing capacity expanded. This bodes well for the manufacturers of plant and equipment as well as suppliers of raw materials and auxiliaries around the world. Consequently, it’s predicted that this economic region will continue to offer great potential in the coming years.

One thing is already certain about K 2007 – the fair will present the full panorama of offerings on the global plastics and rubber market. Over 2,900 exhibitors will turn out for the global industry’s No. 1 trade fair, to be staged from 24 to 31 October 2007. At the close of registrations at the end of May 2006, it was clear that demand for stand space has climbed yet again.
