Russian printer buys machine

Diton, one of the biggest commercial printers in north-west Russia, has established a formidable reputation among its clientele for the excellence of its services and print quality. Now, after operating with presses from another manufacturer, Diton has signed up at Drupa for a Rapida 105 from KBA. The five-colour press with coater and extended delivery will be delivered in the summer.

Packaging coding brought to Europe

Array Graphics, European Master Distributor for inc.jet, Inc digital printing products using Hewlett-Packard TIJ 2.5 thermal inkjet technology, released details of the Company’s new product, a stand-alone printer, designed specifically for use in the Package Coding Industry. The new space-efficient turnkey print unit, named “IPS” (Industrial Print System), promises uncomplicated integration “on-the-fly” to previously difficult package coding applications, as well as operator-friendly design.

Seiko Epson Corporation ("Epson") today announced that it has been awarded a prestigious WorldStar Award in the Electronics Category for its globally standardized packaging for printer ink cartridges. Compose to show case Star Proof

Prayer for the Weekend is the latest album of the Swedish rock group The Ark. The first 5,000 copies of the disc will be packaged in an exclusive special cover called JakeBox. In mid-March The Ark visited the packaging printers Strand Grafiska in Malmö, Sweden, and inaugurated a newly developed packaging machine simply by pressing the start button.
