A new seasonal launch for Halloween from Fox’s Party Rings has confirmed the suitability of RPC Containers Blackburn’s large-sized Thor Pot for the convenient sharing of snacks.

Belgian supermarket chain Delhaize has selected RPC Containers Blackburn’s Thor Pot for its new range of curry sauces.

The RPC stand at Interpack 2008 promises to be something of a talking point at the show with a design that focuses on some of the key markets served by the group – food and drink, healthcare and beauty, industrial and automotive, and home and garden. RPC says that the stand will provide the ideal environment for the Group’s latest innovations in rigid plastics packaging.

The Co-operative group is using the renowned Thor Pot from RPC Containers Blackburn to provide high-quality packaging for its best-selling range of chilled fresh soups.

The launch of the microwaveable Snap Pot, the revolutionary new concept from HJ Heinz for its famous baked beans, has been made possible by the multi-layer thermoforming expertise of RPC Bebo Plastik.

RPC Containers Blackburn is creating a new look for its market-leading Thor range as part of an initiative to reduce packaging weight. At the same time, the company is also launching a brand new size into the range, a 280ml version, specifically developed for fish products such as roll mop herrings and prawn cocktails.

RPC Bebo is to expand its packaging operations in Poland through the acquisition of rival firm 4 You Sigal, as the company looks to move into the confectionery packaging market.
