Bayerische Milchindustrie eG (BMI) has installed a new Multipack 8000 from OYSTAR Benhil at its Zapfendorf plant. The wrapping machine currently packs butter from the Paladin brand in three different pack sizes at a rate of 250 packs per minute. Used in conjunction with an OYSTAR A+F Setline end-of-line packaging machine, the double-cell Multipack 8000 has "significantly increased" the production capacity of the BMI plant, as Friedrich Fischer, plant manager at BMI Zapfendorf, confirms.
