Packaging technology with marketing potential

At FachPack 2010, Optima Group Consumer will present itself as a machine partner for packaging innovations in the food, cosmetics and chemical industries. One example: “Functional Closures“. OPTIMA CFL1 manufactures closures with enhanced functionalities, which allow better protection of sensitive ingredients, which are added to the drink only once the package is opened. The output of the starter model OPTIMA CFL1, which will be on display at the fair, starts at 50 closures/min. The top version offers a maximum capacity of filling, sealing and controlling up to 1,000 functional closures/min. At the fair, Optima’s experts will further present innovations like the CombiStick, an innovative and improved teabag, liquid flavor dosing for single serve coffee packs or the soft container SoftCan.

Romaco centralises production

Romaco is combining its two Italian production sites in Rastignano, Bologna. For this purpose the Italian Romaco brands Macofar, Promatic and Unipac were physically consolidated. From now on, Romaco Srl, the Italian subsidiary of the Romaco Group, will be located under one roof and centrally administered.
