Toly launched colourful promotional mini lipsticks and lipgloss packs

Alcan Packaging Beauty disrupts the applicators market with SpinArt™, inspired by women and designed by its Creative Director Michel Limongi: “Women are completely satisfied with the quality of their lipgloss but are looking for more, longer-lasting gloss.” SpinArt™ is the first applicator with such an effective result, thanks to its ingenious rotating system, patented by Alcan Packaging Beauty.

CRYOVAC BDF® for whole birds is a shrink overwrap packaging under modified atmosphere combining a thin, anti-fog, barrier shrink film with a variety of trays. This technology offers the store-wrapped look with the added bonuses of enhanced branding, longer shelf-life and leak proof closure.

Lip gloss and mascara – two products that, owing to their viscosity alone, require specific expertise and a lot of experience. In this application it was furthermore necessary to feed containers that are supplied on trays in a variable and undefined position to an automated packaging process in a gentle, effective and accurate manner. The Kugler GmbH, part of the Optima Group (Schwäbisch Hall) developed and supplied a suitable turnkey packaging solution – including the robot technology.
