PIC (Process Integrated Coating) was presented the first time on the drinktec 2009 in Munich. This innovative technology for coating the PET preforms during the process is optimizing the transport of the PET pack-aging. Production stoppage due to a fan-like blockade of the packaging or the bottles on the transport bars are history. PIC was developed from the precoating technology, where Steidle GmbH spraying systems have been used successfully for years. With PIC, the operator of the filling device can apply this coating on his own more flexible, more precise and even more cost saving.

With the new B 310, Multivac presents the world’s first conveyor belt chamber machine with a tiltable lid. The first model of Multivac’s new generation belted chamber line, this patent-pending innovation offers distinct advantages in both ergonomics and hygiene. Setting the seal height and cleaning the interior of the lid are simplified and accelerated. With an output of more than three cycles per minute, the B 310 is one of the quickest machines in its class.
