Dairy company buys PLA packager

Naturally Iowa announced today that it has completed the acquisition of PLA Supply Company, which is now a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. "This acquisition secures our leadership position as the first and only dairy company in the world that manufactures and packages our dairy products in PLA containers made from corn, a 100% renewable resource," said William Horner, President and CEO of Naturally Iowa, Inc. Organic film for organic pasta

Birkel, a leading German manufacturer of brand name products, will now be the first to offer its organic pasta in organic film. Just as new is that the film will be printed in a high-quality 8-coloured flexoprint ¾ by the packaging specialist Kobusch-Sengewald.
