Interpack working with Pro-Carton

Messe Düsseldorf has joined hands with Pro Carton, the European Association of Carton Manufacturers and Cartonboard Mills in organising an INNOVATIONPARC PACKAGING at interpack 2008. This decision was reached by the association’s 14 national heads at this year’s autumn Pro Carton Congress held in Berlin on 15 September. Founded in 1988, the Pro Carton initiative’s mission is to promote folding boxes’ high levels of performance and varied applications to the food and non-food industry.

Competance centre in Duesseldorf

In the upcoming years, interpack will focus more on the areas of packaging materials and material processing. This decision was endorsed by the exhibitors’ advisory board of interpack 2008 at its constitutive meeting. In particular, packaging materials manufacturing processes shall be emphasised more at the internationally leading fair for packaging machinery, packaging and confectionary machinery. With this decision, Messe Düsseldorf and the interpack advisory board meet the market requirements and further solidify interpack’s position as internationally leading event for the entire packaging industry.
