Fitch downgrades several emerging markets
Following the conclusion of its global review of the sovereign ratings of 17 major investment-grade 'emerging market' economies, Fitch Ratings downgraded the sovereign ratings of Bulgaria, Hungary, Kazakhstan and Romania, while it affirmed the sovereign ratings of, among others, Poland.

The agency agreement covers both the Rapida sheetfed offset presses from the KBA facility in Radebeul near Dresden and web presses for commercial and newspaper printing from the West German KBA locations in Würzburg and Frankenthal.

Alcoa (NYSE:AA) today officially celebrated its move into its 44th country with the company’s first plant in Bulgaria now fully operational. The plant, part of the Alcoa Consumer Products business, produces household wrap products, including foil, film and disposal bags under the Reynolds® brand and Baco® brand names for the retail markets in the U.K., Europe and the Middle East. The 12,000-square meter facility, reconstructed on the site of an abandoned industrial park, is expected to employ approximately 200 people.
