Application engineer required in Hungary

Key tasks:
The Application Engineer (m/f) reports directly to the General Manager and has the following tasks:

· Management of development projects
· Optimisation of the product portfolio in line with market requirements in consideration of quality and costs
· Modification and further development of innovative and economic laminates for confectionary & snacks,food, pet-food and beverage industry as well as the pharmaceutical sector products in close collaboration with sales force and clients.
· Technical support to customers and sales force
· Definition of product specifications
· Customer claim handling, including analysis of technical problems and solutions to them

Our requirements:

Education:
· Degreee in chemistry, material science or engineering

Professional experience:
· Several years of professional experience in R&D positions in printed laminates or stand up pouches for the food or pet-food industry
· Experience in technical customer support

Languages:
· Hungarian (fluent)
· English or German (good command)

Personal characteristics:
· Technical understanding
· Advanced IT skills
· Willingness to travel
· Creativity
· Project management skills
· Six Sigma qualification is a plus
