Suppliers driving innovation in medical technology
Suppliers to the medical technology manufacturing industry are among the key driving forces of innovation and efficiency in the sector. Every November COMPAMED - High tech solutions for medical technology, in Düsseldorf, the leading international trade fair for the suppliers market in medical manufacturing, provides the ideal information and communication platform for positioning their products and services. Judging from the applications submitted for COMPAMED 2010 (17 - 19 November) so far, we expect to see more than 500 exhibitors from at least 25 countries again this year. The focus will be on the entire medical technology supply chain, from materials and components to systems and intermediate products as well as complete systems and services.New approaches and production methods in medical technology were also the focal point of the 4th COMPAMED Spring Convention, where over 60 company representatives met in Frankfurt in early May to find out more about this attractive market of the future. Just as had been the case in previous years, the event saw a lively exchange of information between applied research and medical practitioners. The Spring Convention was organised by IVAM, the International Association of Microtechnology (Dortmund) in cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf. It highlighted the entire field of medical technology, from innovative materials to system integration and specific aspects of production.
