Distributor chosen for digital print solutions
Screen has appointed independent company Bauer + Bauer as distributor for its range of large format digital print solutions to the industrial screen printing market in Austria. The family-run company has more than 40 years' experience in offset litho, screenprinting and prepress as well extensive involvement in the digital sector. In the industrial sector Bauer + Bauer is one of the leading companies providing solutions to this market.The products that will be distributed are the Truepress Jet2500UV, which offers large-size, high-speed printing on many industrial materials be they rollfed or flatbed rigid substrates; the Truepress Jet1600UV-F which provides vivid, full-colour printing especially suited to backlit applications; and the Truepress Jet650, which has been specifically developed for industrial applications such as car instrument panels, plastic card printing or membrane overlay markets.
“The Screen large format digital machines complete our product portfolio,” says Bauer + Bauer’s Wolfgang Winter, Sales manager for this industrial sector. “We can now expand our customer base in the industrial sector where we already have strong links.”
Screen Europe sales manager Bruce Hilltout welcomed the new appointment, saying: “Bauer + Bauer is an exciting addition to Screen’s network of European distributors in that they focus on the industrial segment of the silk screen market. This will allow us to enter into new markets where the products we have developed fit extremely well.”
