Earlier this year Plasticum Group launched Oscar, a one-piece spray cap with the Insertless Spray technology. Oscar has been developed in close co-operation with some leading players in the aerosol industry, who have already adopted this cap for their deodorants, anti-perspirants, body sprays and hairsprays.

Oscar has a diameter of 52 mm and fits on necked-in tinplate cans and on aluminium transfer cans. The polypropylene product does not require an over cap and is supplied with a matt finish. Oscar is suitable for several aerosol product applications and market segments.

This spray cap is a one-piece product, manufactured in one single moulding shot. No assembly of a separate insert is required. This also means that the product consists of just one material and that it can be recycled as one part. Especially the cost-effectiveness and spray performance make Oscar a popular solution.

Oscar is fitted with the Insertless Spray technology, a proprietary spray solution with a patented technique, integrating both the actuator and insert. The spray orifice of the button is positioned just above the stem to optimise the control and performance when activating the aerosol. A special chamber and channel design stimulate the acceleration of particles into a swirling pattern.
