Unilever moves two production lines from Czech Republic to Ploiesti

"It is the group's policy to transfer lines to other production facilities when a factory is closed. Two
lines making margarine cubes (used in making cakes and cookies i.e.) will be relocated. They (margarine
cubes i.e.) will initially be made for Germany and other markets in Central Europe," stated Florentin Scarlat,
communication manager of Unilever South Central Europe, adding that so far the group had not announced
whether the production of these lines would be sold in Romania, too, or not.
