Packaging wall of excellence to become regular feature
The special exhibition about plastic packaging, the “Packaging Wall of Excellence”, attracted the visitors’ attention at BRAU Beviale 2008. On a stand area of 100 square meters the “Packaging Wall” had been arranged. The Wall’s illuminated boxes, in which the exhibits were presented, are the eye-catching elements. Modern LED technology produces shimmering and changing colours and creates a very special atmosphere.
17 companies used the PETnology stand to present their products and to highlight their new developments: ALPLA, Concordia Development, Corvaglia, KHS Corpoplast, Kortec, Krones, LyondellBasell, MHT, Netstal, PolyOne, Otto Hofstetter, Resilux, Röders, Eugen Seitz, Sidel, SIPA, tecPET innovation.
Die “Packaging Wall of Excellence“ has also proved to be of success as a meeting point: on the large stand area exhibitors can make appointments and meet their customers. The PETnology team provide information material, bring exhibitors together with their customers and run the stand service.
The newly issued PET yearbook “connecting comPETence” forms another important part of the concept: Covering more than 140 pages it is the exhibition catalogue going along with the “Packaging Wall of Excellence” on the one hand. Each exhibiting company is presented on a double-sided entry. On the other hand, the substantial review of the conference “PETnology Europe 2008“ offers comprehensive information along the PET value chain.
The aim was to accentuate uniqueness and to emphasize special highlights in a special atmosphere. In the future the creative idea of the “Packaging Wall of Excellence“ will be presented on different international trade fairs. The next opportunity will be Anuga FoodTec in Cologne, March 10-13, 2009.
