Passion for innovation
A clear motto – “Passion for Innovation” – and its consistent implementation down to the design of the trade fair stand. This is how NORDENIA INTERNATIONAL AG, an international manufacturer of flexible packaging, technical films, and product components, is presenting itself at this year’s Emballage trade fair, one of the most important packaging trade fairs in the world. It will take place in Paris from November 17 to 21, 2008, and is expected to draw more than 100,000 visitors. The focus is on six topics – Barrier, Ventilation & Shelf Life, Opening
& Pouring, Sustainability , Haptic & Optic, Resistance – by means of
which the visitors can get to know innovative features and functional
solutions with films and flexible packaging.
“Our focus is always on functionalities and features for products,”
says the Steinfeld Plant Manager, Alfons Kruse. “This means that
we can find an innovative solution approach for every challenge, and
this is the central message that we want to convey at the trade fair.”
The innovative approach, which is also reflected optically in the
trade fair stand, was thus a conscious choice.
NORDENIA DEUTSCHLAND Halle, Plant Steinfeld, will present the
so-called Petite Boxer, among other things, at Emballage. With its
compact and square design, an innovative laser perforation as easy
opening, a side-gusset closure system, and a convenient handle in
the side gusset, the premium packaging is a real highlight. Nestlé
Purina PetCare even considers Petite Boxer worthy of submission to
the prestigious French Oscar de l´Emballage, a prize awarded
annually for innovative packaging solutions. The packaging is also to
be found in the Trends Area at Emballage, in which new products
and innovations of the trade fair exhibitors are presented.
“At Emballage, NORDENIA DEUTSCHLAND Halle will turn
packaging into an experience,” says Sales Manager Klaus Wewers.
“Starting with the excellent printing quality and continuing through to the highly complex composite and barrier films, we will be using individual film solutions to demonstrate everything that is being
produced today for the international packaging market or is in
development as solution approaches. We attach the greatest
importance to the efficient processing of our packaging films at our
clients’ facilities.”
Film composites from the Halle site offer special aroma protection or
effective barriers against oxygen and water steam. They are used,
for instance, in pet food, coffee, condiment, and wet wipe packaging.
The newly created NOR®Speed film has been specially developed
for the ever faster packaging machines.
