System introduced for ink correction quality
Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H) introduced the EASY-COL system at drupa - a new system reducing make-ready times and improving ink correction quality on printing presses. The EASY-COL system allows the press operator to make fast and reliable color matches.
Here is how it works: With the EASY-COL system, color data can be calculated and the correct ink quantities for the job can be accurately mixed at the press. Color deviations are accurately measured and adjusted automatically regardless of operator skill. Correction data are stored for prompt retrieval when repeat orders are run.
The advantages of using the latest member of W&H’s EASY family are obvious. With EASY-COL the press operator can make fast and reliable color matches reducing make-ready times and waste with increasing machine uptime. The new system was developed in cooperation with X-Rite and Sun Chemical.
EASY-COL is immediately available for all new W&H flexo and rotogravure printing presses.
