Bailing press introduced for disposing of waste
At the IFAT trade fair in Munich at the beginning of May, HSM presented the channel baling press to a large specialist audience. With an extremely high pressing force of 1200 kN and a large filling hatch of approx. 1000 x 1800, the HSM VK 12018 R is suitable for a wide variety of materials, such as cardboard, paper and foils. The all-rounder is also able to easily deal with bulky material, DSD products, sorted waste material and substitute fuels.
Depending on the material, the bales reach a weight of up to 1100 kg, a length of 1200 mm, a bale size of approx. 1100 x 1100 x 600-2000 mm and are held together by fully automatic five-fold wire strapping, even with very expansive materials. The optimised bale dimensions and bale weights ensure efficient truck loading.
Optional feeding equipment, such as e.g. conveyor belts as well as suction systems, ensure continuous operation and the continuous feeding of the baling press. The integrated cutting edge clearing equipment and the pressing-in device ensure optimum throughput, since disturbing factors, such as e.g. material jams in front of the shearing blade or bridge formation in the hopper, are prevented effectively.
The solid steel structure and the raised roller tracks are made of extremely wear-resistant and replaceable Hardox steel with proven HSM quality, Made in Germany, thus guaranteeing a long service life.
The entire process is controlled and monitored by a modern control concept with touchscreen. There is a modem for external communication and data transmission that allows the baling press to be controlled directly from the HSM factory, e.g. for program changes and servicing.
