The deep expertise and know-how in the printing sector of Matjaz Mramor, Managing Director of Simark, Slovenian distributor of printing presses, are strongly contributing the fulfilment of excellent results since the beginning of the co-operation with GIDUE.

“When I first joined the GIDUE Team in 2006, after Converflex exhibition in Milan, only few people in my area were aware of the existence of the Italian company, but they soon discovered that GIDUE could be the ideal partner for their growth,” states Mramor. “Through accurate presentations made to the people responsible for the production quality, label converters have quickly understood how important it is to work with a reliable and trustful company, like GIDUE.”

The joint action of Simark and GIDUE in the Balkan region (including all Balkan countries except Bulgaria) found new life after last Labelexpo in Brussels. Starting from September 2007, the diffusion of the name of the Italian manufacturer of printing and converting machines started to increase, along with the sales of its machines. “The excellent presentations and live demonstrations made during the exhibition made people aware of the great potential of GIDUE’s solutions and of the extraordinary quality of the final printed products,” explains Mramor.

Thanks to the cooperation with Simark, GIDUE can now count on two installed presses, a 6 colours F-Combat 280 at Fleksotisk Logar, printing self-adhesive labels and blister packs for the pharmaceutical sector and a 7 colours E-Combat 370, purchased by Sorex, which mainly prints self-adhesive labels, shrink sleeves and wrap-around labels. Four additional machines are currently being installed: one Quadra, width 370, again for Fleksotisk Logar to face an order increase and dedicated to short runs printing, one S-Combat 370 for the Macedonian customer Kiro Dandaro, one 8 colours I-Combat 430 for Tenovis and one 8 colours S-Combat 370, for Radece Papir, both Slovenian companies, thus taking the total amount of sales in the region up to six units.

In this area, GIDUE has high expectations, especially considering the fact that some of these emerging countries are waiting to enter the European Union.
