International Fair of Plastics Processing PLASTPOL, which will be held on 27th-30th May in Kielce, is the largest exhibition dedicated to plastics processing industry in Poland and in Eastern Europe, in addition to being the most important industry event this year.
Next week’s exhibition in Kielce will feature among other things novel processing technologies, machines and equipment used in plastics processing, packaging, design, recycling technologies as well as a wide range of plastics.
This year Kielce Trade Fairs will be visited by over 800 exhibitors from over 30 countries; Germany, Italy, England, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Austria, China, Belgium, Slovakia, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, Luxemburg, Spain, Czech, Hungary, Brazil, Slovenia, Ukraine, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Holland, Honk Kong, USA, Korea, Finland, Israel, Lithuania, India, Nederland and Poland. In a Polish Trade Fair Corporation ranking PLASTPOL has come first as a trade fair attracting the largest number of foreign exhibitors for few years. Kielce Trade Fairs constitute a venue for exhibitions held by major world plastics producers and distributors. Companies such as Bayer, Charmilles, Egyplast, Lumel, Mann-Hummel or Siemens will have the chance to present their products and services.
Branch range of the fair:
Simultaneously with the growth of the industry the range of the exhibition has been constantly expanding with new technologies and equipment used in developing plastics processing sectors. PLASTPOL will feature all stages of plastics processing from its early stages to utilization and recycling. The range of exhibited products and services will encompass machines and equipment used in plastics processing, plastics components, recycling technologies and IT systems applied in plastics processing. Technologies and finished products are also offered by companies specializing in plastic packaging systems.
The four days of the fair will provide an opportunity to observe complete technological processes implemented in plastics processing sector.
Curiosities:
- Additional feature of the 12th edition of PLASTPOL fair is a presence of a global tycoon in production of self-degrading soft and semi-rigid plastic additives. An additive offered by Ecoplast allows fast and environmentally friendly degradation, regardless of an initiation factor. Products containing an additive ‘d2w’ may be burnt, composted, stored and even recycled before their complete degradation.
- During the 11th edition of PLASPOL fair held last year few lucrative contracts were signed. Only during the last day of the fair all exhibited equipment was sold.
Conferences and industry meetings:
In order to combine the theory with practice International Fair of Plastics Processing is accompanied by a wide range of industry meetings and conferences:
· Open Technical Seminar PLASTECH-INFO 2008, dedicated to new techniques in plastics processing
· Conference dedicated to EU subsidies for companies in 2008-2013 will be held for exhibitors, invited guests, company management and employees.

· ‘CaCo3 ( Cacolin) Mineral Filler and their use in Plastics Processing’
PLASTPOL fair was honoured with UFI certificate, the most important international trade fair association which includes over 300 trade companies from all over the world. For the last 5 years Kielce Trade Fairs has been organizing International Fair of Plastics Processing PLASTUKRAINA in Kiev- eastern equivalent of PLASTPOL.
Kielce Trade Fairs, Poland’s second largest exhibition company with 100,000 m² of external exhibition area. The total space of its 6 exhibition halls amounts to 30,000 m².
