Plastpol next week
State-of-the-art processing technologies, plastics processing equipment, packaging, design, a wide variety of plastics, and recycling – this is a brief description of the 12th International Fair of Plastics Processing PLASTPOL, which will commence in Kielce on 27th May. This is the largest fair event dedicated to the plastics industry in Poland and Eastern Europe.
PLASTPOL is the fastest growing exhibition in Kielce. Each year, this event sets further records in terms of exhibitor and visitor attendance. In 2007, Kielce attracted almost 800 exhibitors representing 29 countries. Thus, foreign companies made up half of the exhibitors. The International Fair of Plastics Processing was honoured with the European Medal for Services, which is given by the Office of European Integration and the Business Centre Club. This medal is presented to companies whose products and services meet European quality requirements. The PLASPOL fair is also one of the three Kielce Trade Fairs’ exhibitions that enjoy membership of the elite Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), which brings together the world’s best fair events. PLASTPOL being a member of the UFI guarantees that this exhibition can offer international quality, high organizational standards and significance for the plastics processing sector. The validity of this distinction is confirmed each year, with this fair being organized. The more so, as PLASTPOL is Poland’s first fair event to have lived to see its foreign version. For five years, Kielce Trade Fairs has been the organizer of the International Fair of Plastics Processing PLASTUKRAINA – an eastern copy of PLASTPOL.
The Kielce exhibition PLASTPOL first and foremost features the latest market trends and innovations, in addition to constituting an excellent opportunity to acquire information and exchange experience. It is a venue for meetings attended by major plastics processing companies which present their newest plastics processing technologies and equipment, moulds and tools used in the plastics processing sector, plastics, components, recycling technologies, and IT systems applied in plastics processing. Technologies and finished products are also offered by companies specializing in plastic packaging systems. These four days in the pavilions of Kielce Trade Fairs also give an opportunity to show a wide range of plastic products. PLASTPOL also provides a unique opportunity to see whole technological processes, i.e. plastics grinding, selecting colour concentrates; galvanizing, painting and metallizing; water jet cutting, precision die shearing, as well as injection machines and extruders delivering final products. Visitors and exhibitors can also participate in numerous conferences and seminars addressing the latest developments and trends emerging on the plastics processing industry. During last year’s PLASTPOL, fifteen meetings of this kind were held. .
