Bailiffs served an injunction on 3S packaging, the company set up recently by Rainer K. and Friedrich K., former directors of Bradman Lake GmbH. during this years’ Interpack exhibition in Düsseldorf.

The website of Bradman Lake states that the injunction prohibits the company from selling and producing end load cartoning machines designed and developed by Bradman Lake. 3S were openly advertising plagiarised copies of the equipment at the show according to a press release by Bradman Lake.

A spokesperson for Bradman Lake said “it is an unwelcome aspect of our industry that certain individuals believe that they can simply walk away with years of product development and start up a company producing exactly the same equipment with impunity. That is not the case and we are taking all available legal steps available to protect our intellectual property and to hold the perpetrators responsible”.

CEE Packaging publisher Alan Heath was warned by 3S ‘to tell the truth’ and threatened with violence in what appears to have been a case of mistaken identity for a journalist who wrote a bad article about the company.

More will appear in the print version of CEE Packaging.
