Reliably Tight and Tamper-Evident
With thermoforming machines, blister packs can be manufactured for industrial and consumer items. The procedure offers multiple advantages: individual package design, a reliably tight seal and various options for labeling.
Reliably Tight and Tamper-Evident
Inherently stable packaging trays are thermoformed from a rigid bottom film and sealed after the product has been loaded, either with a second film or a sealable carton. The high sealing pressure with even distribution in the sealing die ensure hermetically tight packages. This prevents the product inside from dehydration, which, for example, is important when packing cartridges for inkjet printers. In addition, the tight seals offer tamper-evident protection against manipulation or even removal of the product from the package. The hermetic seal is especially important for packages containing products with scented ingredients. This is essentially the only way to guarantee that the package remains scent-free on the shelf. Additionally, the atmosphere in the package can be modified before sealing.
These characteristics are combined with the individual design options available with thermoforming technology: high precision in forming the package moulds, large range of possible film widths and cut-off lengths as well as possible mould depths and different forming procedures allow for optimal adaptation to packaging tasks.
