Increasing demand for printable sheets
Extensive development and investment into the production of clear A-PET and GAG has made RPC Cobelplast-Montonate one of Europe’s leading suppliers of plastic sheets for printed box and drum applications.
Increased market demand for A-PET and GAG has been driven by growing awareness of the materials’ suitability for sheet applications. As well as enjoying a stronger environmental profile than other polymers, their high degree of transparency is ideal for providing clear packaging that enables consumers to see pack contents through the container. When combined with offset or silk screen printing, high-quality results can be achieved for a range of products.
Investment in new cutting machines and other equipment, allied to extensive R&D activities designed to optimise the use of the technology, has allowed RPC Cobelplast-Montonate to satisfy demand for the new materials.
