Pharmaceutical innovations subject of exhibition

At the same time and place – the Paris Nord Villepinte Convention and Exhibition Center –
they and their Néo Pharma partner will be setting up the Pharmameeting trade show and
the European Pharma Summit. These professional, forward-looking business events are
intended to help “high potential”French and European pharmacists and their suppliers to lay
the foundations for a prosperous future.
Successive cutbacks on reimbursements, a decrease in gross margins, the calling into
question of the monopoly on medications, the development of OTC products, the opening of
capital to private operators, pressure to harmonize European regulations… The pharmacy
sector is rapidly changing. To help “pharmacist-managers” analyze, adapt and anticipate,
Beyond Beauty Paris is organizing a fifth trade show, Pharmameeting, for them.
From Sunday 5 to Tuesday 7 October 2008 at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Convention Center in
France – the observed birthplace of the pharmacy network – “high potential” pharmacist
managers from France and Europe will be able to take stock of the new stakes of their
profession and find the best business models for coming up with tomorrow’s profitable,
ethical pharmacies.
For three days at Pharmameeting, the first trade show on innovation in pharmacies, and at
the expert European Pharma Summit, they will be invited to think about the context behind
the changes in pharmacies. They will be offered new, concrete solutions to improve the
management and customer environments of their pharmacy, gain in efficiency, pick out the
new product and niche marketing offers to widen their pharmaceutical selection.
