New product manager for pre press firm

In his new function, Mr. Vandermeersch will be responsible for supporting Compose products as well as further expanding the dealer and distributor network in Europe. He will also focus his attention on finding new applications in niche markets for Compose’sworkflow and proofing solutions.

In addition to consolidating its strong market position, the new appointment will allow Compose to further investigate in new technologies, develop new fully-integrated solutions as well as pro-actively look for innovative business opportunities to maximize the profitability of its loyal customer base.

Mr. Vandermeersch brings to Compose more than fifteen years of European experience in sales, technical support and marketing. He is very enthusiastic about meeting the company’s upcoming challenges: “I intend to use my experience in marketing and sales support to increase Compose’s market share as well as to raise the communications platform with our dealer and distributor network in Europe. As a former reseller of Compose products in Belgium, I am looking forward to sharing and broadening my knowledge to the rest of Europe.”

Prior to his appointment, Stefaan worked as Technical Consultant for Presstek Europe where he was responsible for the development and implementation of CTP and workflow solutions. At Strobbe, he worked six years in the R&D and Engineering department and then a further four years delivering customer support for the first film and CTP imagesetters. After the take-over of Strobbe by PunchGraphix, he joined the marketing and sales team where he took on the role of Customer and Technical Support Manager.
