Du Pont to showcase sustainability
DuPont Packaging Graphics, a leading supplier to the flexographic printing industry, will showcase new products and workflows at drupa 2008 (Hall 08b / Stand B23) to illustrate its ongoing commitment to promote the advancement of Flexography for the flexible packaging, tag & label and corrugated industries. The company also will highlight the Sustainability advantages of flexographic printing via data-driven analyses of platemaking and printing options.
“DuPont has been committed to advancing flexography for more than 35 years and our drupa 2008 exhibit is evidence of our commitment to the future,” said Lisa DiGate, global business director, DuPont Packaging Graphics. “We have worked with our customers and other industry leaders, such as EskoArtwork, to create solutions aimed at enhancing quality and productivity while addressing Sustainability issues with our digital and Cyrel® FAST systems.”
In addition to showcasing the widely-used Cyrel® FAST and Cyrel® round, DuPont will introduce new printing forms and more efficient, fully-digital platemaking workflow systems. These innovative processes are designed to allow flexographers to reach very high print quality, eliminate process steps, and gain manufacturing flexibility due to higher throughput and production speed.
Drupa 2008 visitors will experience fully-digital and fully-automated workflow processes for flat plates — Cyrel® FAST — and for continuous printing forms — Cyrel® round sleeves. Tradeshops, Printers, Converters and Brand Owners can “See and Touch” the newest DuPont solutions in four demonstration areas: Flexo and Cyrel® Sustainability, High Volume Flexible Packaging, Automated Multipurpose Flexo Workflow and Digital Corrugated Workflow.
Product and workflow demonstrations, print samples and compelling, science-based information about the Sustainability of flexography make DuPont Packaging Graphics a must see exhibit at drupa 2008.
