Zip Pack will demonstrate resealing technology
Zip-Pak, the world leader in resealable flexible packaging technology, will showcase its global capabilities at Interpack 2008, on April 24-30, 2008, Messe Düsseldorf, in Hall 10 Booth #A78. Visitors at the show will have the opportunity to speak to Zip-Pak representatives and view applications of Zip-Pak’s resealable packaging technologies from around the world.
The booth applications will show how brands can differentiate themselves at the point of sale by incorporating convenient resealable technology that preserves product freshness and prevents spillage. With applications from Eastern and Western Europe, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East, visitors will be able to view a wide array of products in various markets including confectionery, meat, cheese, pet food, household goods, and health and beauty.
Zip-Pak offers a comprehensive range of slider and press-to-close systems, enabling resealable technology on virtually any package style - from stand-up pouches to thermo-form/fill/seal packages.
Technologies featured at the Zip-Pak booth will include the ZIP-PAK® SLIDER™, ergonomically designed to allow consumers to easily open and reseal packages, and the new ZIP-PAK® SLIDER™ for large format bags. This new slider enables a resealable closure on laminate and multi-wall paper bags, popular choices for applications such as pet food, bulk wild bird seed and potting soil.
Products featuring ZIP-PAK® Press-to-Close™ technology with interlocking profiles will also be on display, including the product family’s newest member, the ZIP-PAK® DoubleZip. To ensure complete bag closure, this technology features two sets of interlocking profiles, and is ergonomically designed to guide consumers’ fingers when closing a package.
“We are pleased to have our global product line and sales team represented at Interpack 2008,” says Zip-Pak’s Vice President and General Manager Kevin O’Leary. “As a company with truly global expertise in markets around the world, we have the unique opportunity to understand and therefore better service our diverse group of customers and their ever-changing needs.”
