Innovative filling - minimum aseptic zone, maximum product safety
Generation ABF does it all
The state-of-the-art aseptic bottle fillers from SIG Asbofill are extremely flexible in the production environment. They can fill both PET and HDPE plastic bottles of nearly any shape or size imaginable. The ABF 610, which has an aseptic zone of merely 0.9 m3 of controlled atmosphere to attain maximum aseptic safety is designed for smaller packages like single-serve containers between 100 ml and 1000 ml. The ABF 710 with its 1.5 m3 controlled atmosphere fills larger bottles between 250 ml and two liters.
Both machines are suitable for filling all non-carbonated liquid products, including non-alcoholic beverages such as drinking water or fruit and vegetable juices and liquid milk products or flavored dairy drinks and pharmaceutical products such as Nutrifood. Liquid foods with high fiber content like soups can also be filled with these ABF systems.
Minimal aseptic zone, maximum effectiveness and efficiency
ABF filling systems are equipped with the smallest integrated aseptic zone available in the market - making expensive clean room technology that is normally used, a thing of the past. Instead of conventional wet sterilization, these ABF machines utilize sterile hot air with an H2O2 aerosol to ensure exceptionally safe filling. The filling process is also performed without bottle contact; together increasing protection for sensitive goods.
This innovative process has proven to be particularly advantageous; not only because if its high asptic integrity, but because of its compactness and cost effectiveness - with extremely low use of sterilization materials and zero process water consumption considerably reducing investment and operating costs for the entire system.
A complete line, modular and flexible in production environments
ASBOFILL filling machines are modular in construction and are particularly flexible in use; a vast array of bottle shapes, materials, and sizes
can be filled in sizes to meet market expectations without the need for additional conversion parts. The bottle guide at the neck allows for quick format changes with just the press of a button. Thanks to pre-programmed production parameters, change-over times have been reduced to a minimum.
ABF fillers also give users the option to use the closure technology of their choice. Filled bottles can be either sealed within the aseptic zone with an aluminum foil seal or a screw-cap. SIG Asbofill is currently the only provider of linear filling machines equipped with an integrated aseptic screw capper.
