Ingredients Russia to celebrate tenth anniversary

The 2007 event will be the second edition to take place in Crocus Expo, Moscow Russia.  By moving Ingredients Russia to Crocus Expo, both the number of exhibitors and the size of the exhibition have been able to grow.  This year, the exhibition will occupy Hall 8 of Pavilion 2 and will cover 12,500 m².

Many big names will be on display at the exhibition, including:, Akjera-Aromatika, Aspasweet, Barry Callebaut, Doehler, Esarom, Globar, Inforum Cocoa, Cargill, Lyckeby Culinar, KIMA Limited, Soyuz Corporation, Matimex, Omega Food Technologies, Symrise, Scorpio-Aromat, Sucrest, Topfood, Trilini International, Zentis, Shaller, etc.<0}

A number of events will be held alongside the exhibition.  The 8^th International Forum entitled ‘Food Ingredients of the 21^st Century’, in which approximately 1,000 specialists participate every year, including major producers and distributors of food ingredients, food and drink producers, process engineers, representatives of scientific and research institutes, ministries and trade associations.  During the Forum, topics such as the role of modern food ingredients technology, development of the composition, texture, flavour and taste of food products and quality preservation will be discussed.  Special attention will be paid to the efficient and safe use of food ingredients, their various applications, compliance assessment and the introduction of new products into the market.

The ‘Ingredient of the year’ competition is a regular feature of the show and is supported by the Union of Food Ingredients Producers.  Prizes are awarded in four categories:  Innovative Product: Development, Innovative Product: Distribution, Best Presentation and Best Publication. 

The TechnoFood exhibition will run alongside Ingredients Russia for the second time this year.  The exhibition is dedicated to equipment, technology and packaging for the food industry.  The introduction of TechnoFood alongside Ingredients Russia enabled the full range of products and components involved in the process of manufacturing end products for the food industry to be on display in one place.
