Big things come in little packages
HPF-Elektronik GmbH from Urbach, Germany, has succeeded in producing what many users in the pharmaceutical industry have demanded for many years: A compact blister inspection system for 100% inspection of content and packaging at top price/performance ratio. The new Camera Inspection System EOK-FA 5 combines all the technical conditions to detect tears, blobs, spots, different lengths, widths, contours, quantities, and fragments or color differences after tablets, dragees or capsules are deposited in PVC or aluminum foil. The system is also equipped for barcode reading (pharmacode, data matrix code, EAN, etc.) and print comparison. The high-definition color camera (1392/1040 pixels), the small monitor with integrated industry PC (300/250/150 mm), and powerful software insure high evaluation speed. The system can also be custom-installed in a machine. The simple, convenient operation with automatic product and color detection makes manual teach-in superfluous. The Inspection System FA5 has network capability and 64 inputs/outputs, an integrated shift register, and can be remotely maintained via Ethernet. It is compatible with FDA Ordinance CFR 21, Part 11, and its operating principle in worldwide applications is: Everything under control.
