Valois Pharma sponsors educational initiative
RDD Online launches Web-based Aerosol Training Module: Dr. Stephen Newman’s Pressurized Metered Dose Inhaler (pMDIs) Presentation is sponsored by VALOIS PHARMA.
The first on-line training module on pMDIs is now available on the web.
This module is intended to meet the training requirements of corporate and commercial development teams in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors who have a need to understand the basic attributes of pMDIs. Pressurized inhalers have been available for over 50 years and many regard the newer HFA-based products as the preferred drug delivery platform for the treatment of asthma and chronic bronchitis.
Each training module will be written by an expert and reviewed by an RDD team before it is made available to anyone with internet access. The pMDI module authored by Dr. Stephen Newman is sponsored by Valois Pharma and is therefore available free of charge. Successful completion of a module requires the user to listen to a presentation and correctly answer a series of test questions randomly selected from a pool. Those that pass the test immediately receive a customized certificate by e-mail that is suitable for their training files to satisfy Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
Future training modules developed by RDD Online – who partner with Valois Pharma to organize the RDD Europe series of conferences – will cover existing and emerging topics dealing with Nasal and Pulmonary drug delivery, an area in which Valois Pharma is world wide leader.
