ETICOL 706

ETICOL 706 is a new high performance, casein adhesive, with exceptional levels of ice water and condensation resistance on cold wet bottles – even when exposed to crushed ice. ETICOL 706 is not only high performance but is heavy metal and synthetic polymer free, so can also help organisations achieve their environmental targets. 

ETICOL 706 consistently performs to high standards at machine speeds of up to 70,000 bottles per hour and is effective even on difficult low-weight or metallised labels. The versatile product can also be applied by all types of rotary wet glue labellers to either dry, wet, cold or warm bottles.

ETICYCLE 850

ETICYCLE 850 is a new, high performing water dispersible PSA Hot Melt for labelling of PET bottles. The new adhesive disperses in hot, caustic water so does not contaminate PET flakes during the recycling process.

ETICYCLE 850 which is endorsed by Petcycle, a major plastics recycling company, surpasses traditional hot melt adhesives used for the labelling of PET bottles. Where traditional products only give a 12 – 30% removal from the bottle after the recycling process, ETICYCLE 850 dramatically increases efficiency by up to 89% ensuring clean PET flakes are collected out of the recycling process, and therefore no discolouration of new PET bottles.

ETICYCLE 850 offers high performance on the production line with a low running temperature of 135-150˚C. Furthermore it is suitable for paper and plastic labels as well as offering a choice of application methods including roll-fed, cut and stack, and even doughnut spray. Its high-tack quality also ensures that it is flexible enough to allow for the expansion of carbonated drinks bottles.

ETIMELT 396

ETIMELT 396 is a new labelling hot melt adhesive which provides superior adhesion to all plastic and paper labelling stocks on metal, glass and plastic containers – wet or dry. The new high-performance adhesive eliminates common problems such as stringing, throwing and flagging, ensuring the labelled product looks at its best every time.

With big improvements to machining, ETIMELT 396 reduces maintenance costs and increases line up-time. Superior thermal stability reduces charring in pots, and the elimination of stringing keeps build-up to a minimum. As a result the production line can run for longer between cleaning and maintenance to improve productivity.

ETIMELT 396 versatile qualities makes it suitable for a wide variety of beverage and food containers including water, soft drinks, dairy products, jarred and bottled foods and household products.

ULTRA-MELT 85

ULTRA-MELT 85 is a high performance and cost effective, hot melt adhesive, suitable for case and carton sealing solutions. Uniquely, the adhesive is suitable for food packaging for microwave ovens. Traditional hot melts will fail in a microwave oven; however ULTRA-MELT 85 retains stability, so will ensure pack integrity for ready-meal cartons both at low/chilled temperatures and into the oven.

This exceptional stability has also lead to performance enhancement on the production line. The unique formulation ensures excellent heat resistance, whilst maintaining fast set speed and good adhesion. With a set time of just 0.5 seconds, ULTRA-MELT 85 is pushing the boundaries of performance excellence.
