B&R founds its 21st subsidiary in Russia

Since the end of June 2007, B&R is being represented by a new subsidiary in Russia. Pavel Tikhon (33) is the managing director of the Moscow-based company. Mr. Tikhon has extensive experience in the automation and process industry and also has an excellent understanding of the market. In addition to sales personnel, there is also an outstanding team of engineers available for training, application and service work in Russian, German and English languages.

With the founding of its 21st subsidiary, B&R strengthens its success in Russia and its dedication to the Russian market, and is now represented by more than 140 offices in 56 countries.

Customers include well-known companies in the oil and gas industry such as Gazprom, Surgutneftegas and Rosneft. Additional applications can be found in the steel, sugar and mining industries as well as in breweries. In addition to system automation, customers also include companies involved in classic machine manufacturing with packaging, tool and printing machines.

For several years now, B&R customers in Russia have profited from an extensive sales and engineering network. More than 70 qualified engineers are working in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Charbarovsk and seven other cities. Because of this subsidiary, which provides extensive market knowledge, years of experience in automation and detailed knowledge of B&R products, B&R is a strong partner for Russian automation.
