Show-case, a showy kind of packaging

Wedge, packaging and display case, this multifunctional pack offers a new example of Cosfibel* group's inventiveness. Glasses, bottles, plates and perfumes put on a show !

What exactly is «Show-case»? A seven-flap symmetrical screen in relation to the central flap, which, depending on its finishing, becomes either a simple wedge in a sheath or a case, display case, coffret or an open display case.

Used as a wedge, the display case packaging doesn’t necessitate a closure as folding assures that the object stays upright.

However, when used as a display case, the closure necessitates the use of magnets allowing it to connect the outside and central flaps.

In addition to its multiple destinations, the Show-case attracts consumers thanks to the highly visible products. Merely «pinched» on the edges of this open packaging, the products take on center stage.

The «Show-case» knows how to be discreet, however, gaining time in transport and stocking as it is delivered flat.

No constraints for materials: “Show-case” can be made of mounted cardboard, the most adapted to all applications, or of «Pakplek» plywood that gives rigidity and makes a solid coffret.

Combining cardboard and plexiglas®, or Pakplek and plexiglas® can be just right for a use as a display case. By choosing plexiglas® for the central flap, it plays on light and transparence to make the product the star.

Another possibility is a mix of thermoform and cardboard. In this version, the three central flaps are made of cardboard, the two lateral flaps are replaced by a thermoformed groove allowing the transparent version to include a «theatrical» decor on the inside.

This original concept was conceived for the wine and spirits market, but also for tableware thanks to a horizantal version.

And also a perfume version, to discover at Luxe Pack.

*Cosfibel Group’s creation committee’s design resources have been the starting point for numerous patents (ClearBox, Freecase, Tea for Two, Smartbox…)

Its creative potential responds to a strong demand from the Group’s international clients.

Thanks to its multi-specialist subsidiaries—plastic injection, transparent packaging, promotional objects (textiles, plastics, metal, leather…), jewelry, mounted or folding cardboard boxes—Cosfibel’s offer is not limited to a unique know-how, but offers a wide palette of conception and industrial production.
