CCL Label’s expertise in innovative sleeving techniques has enabled drinks brand Dooley’s to relaunch its Vodka Toffee Cream range with a sophisticated new look.

Dooley’s is renowned as one of the most distinctive and innovative cream liqueurs on the market, with its unique combination of a toffee caramel taste and use of vodka – rather than whiskey – as its alcohol base.  Manufacturer Waldemar Behn GmbH & Co KG wanted to relaunch the range with a design that reflected a more premium image.

The sleeve design features rich, deep colours to convey a sense of refinement and style, and incorporates metallic text to make the Dooley’s logo stand out on shelf.

CCL Label’s expertise in technically demanding print effects was key in responding to the challenging requirements for this project. Fine vignettes have been employed to produce the two-tone red and blue design, while special non-lustre metallics recreate the Dooley’s logo. In addition, a specifically formulated non-scratch matt lacquer was surface printed onto areas of the design for further brand enhancement.

The sleeves are gravure printed onto high shrink PET by CCL Label and are being supplied for all eleven bottle sizes in the range.

“CCL Label has demonstrated excellent commitment in terms of both the standard of service and quality of sleeve,” comments Thomas Hartges of Waldemar Behn.
