Cases that pull out the stops
They pivot, unfold and grow in stature. These Cosfibel-patented cases create a new gesture in packaging opening and the innovations play on the staging of objects that are particularly attractive for the jewellery, watch and perfume market.
In the beginning, Cosfibel’s creation committee…
Cosfibel’s internal creation committee gathers together associates from different subsidiaries in the worlds of design, manufacturing and even sales. Eight times a year at the company’s headquarters in Brussels, they pool their forecasts and pick out both upcoming trends and products. The aim is to continually show the group’s creative capabilities to international clients and propose ever-more innovative solution in terms of products’ presentation and staging at the point-of-sale be it in cosmetics, food and beverage, or as in this case, in jewellery and watches.
Thanks to the presence of the Group’s multi-specialists in plastic injection, transparent packaging, promotional objects (textiles, plastics, metal, leather), jewellery, folding or mounted cardboard boxes, the committee’s developments nourish these different experiences.
In addition, the committee members come from production sites that are faced with technical issues allowing them to come up with innovative solutions. The sales team, meanwhile, watches over the potential financial constraints.
This results in a complete solution for the client.
Two new patented models have surprises in store
Fruit of the creation committee’s research, the «Ecrin» and «Podium Box», both packaging and display, are based on a new opening gesture and a theatrical way of discovering the contents.
The Podium Box works like a lipstick mechanism: a rotating base lifts the podium and opens the top. Virtually tamper-proof when the podium is not in the upright position, the pack allows small, precious objects to be totally protected.
Covering can be as varied as leather, textile and fabric among others.
As to the mobile podium, it is covered in cardboard or thermoformed materials.
The «Ecrin» box can also don all the usual coverings used for mounted coffrets.
Traditional at first glance, the box reveals its assets when it is opened as it unfolds to present its precious contents. It therefore brings added value to the ceremonial and magical aspect of gift-giving.
