Agrobalt full
The tradition-rich exhibition AgroBalt is totally booked! More than 220 companies from 12 countries will take part in the most important exhibition for agriculture and food processing in the Baltic States from September 13 - 16.The decision to organise the exhibition in Kaunas has proven as a very good choice. By the
partnership with the Lithuanian University of Agriculture it
succeeded to combine politics, economy and science. Delegations
of 9 countries and diplomatic representatives from 14 states will
visit AgroBalt. On the second day of the exhibition the forum for
the Ministers of Agriculture will take part. Under the chairmanship
of the Lithuanian Minister of Agriculture, Prof. Kazimiera
Prunskiene, they will discuss about “The future of Common
Agricultural Policy”. The Commissioner for Agriculture and rural
development of the European Union, Mariann Fischer Boel will
also take part.
The main topics of the exhibition are agriculture, food processing
and food. Newest agriculture machinery will be presented on the
open space area, which is about 3.500 sqm big, the biggest
association of agricultural machinery manufacturers LZUTA will
occupy 2.000 sqm. Companies from all over Europe will show
their products and machinery in the international pavilion on an
area of 3.000 sqm.
