Kubus celebrating Shrek characters
Maspex Wadowice, Poland, chose a special promotion for their juice and nectar brand
“Kubus”: more than 40 different Twist-Off closure designs are printed with all relevant
characters of “Shrek” - just in time for the launch of the new movie.
Computer- to-Plate
Silgan White Cap achieved the challenging design consisting of precise thin lines with the
CPT (computer-to-plate) technology. All other intermediate steps e.g. via film would have
had a negative influence on the printing result. A very accurate fit of the printing passes
was absolutely necessary. All designs are based on the same 6 colour set and base
colour. This enabled us to mix the designs per metal sheet.
The Product
Kubus juices and nectars are available in one-way glass bottles. The 1 litre size bottle is
sealed with the 43 RTB Twist-Off closure. For the 300ml bottle Maspex use the 33 MTB
Twist-Off.
