Hotmelt Concept for Tray and Wrap-around Packers

As in labeling, the same applies to the field of packaging: the machine, the glue, and the materials must harmonize perfectly.  Only in this way can perfect results and maximum machine effectiveness for a long service life be achieved.

Building on comprehensive KHS research results, for wrap-around and tray packaging there are only a total of two hotmelt variants required: Innocoll HMP 2112 for the gluing of tray packaging, and Innocoll HMP 2113 for the gluing of wrap-around packaging.  The advantage: When switching packaging materials, there is no change in hotmelt variants required.  The time required for setup and cleaning is eliminated.

To ensure the perfect application of glue, KHS provides exact parameters for each application case, such as the temperature of the glue and the pressure with which the glue must be applied to the cardboard materials being processed.  In addition, KHS uses a newly developed nozzle head, which operates similarly to the same principle as a combustion engine.  A pneumatically controlled valve located in the nozzle ensures the application of the specified quantity of glue, and also includes a self-cleaning function.  No is no nozzle clogging.  This immediately increases the efficiency of the system.

And, there can be no uncontrolled injection of hot glue when using the new KHS nozzle.  Fouling of machine components or product being processed by glue sprays is therefore simply not a problem.

Due to the use of high-quality materials for the KHS Innocoll HMP 2112 and Innocoll HMP 2113 hotmelts, you can count on the lowest emissions and no bothersome odors for the operating crew.
