Eyes on Belarus
On the trade exhibition for the food industries in Belarus, next year German companies have the possibility to register for an official German collective participation. The official participation takes place for the first time.In 2007, the trade fair in Minsk was frequented by approx.
12,000 visitors. 240 exhibitors from 12 nations were present on
a net hall space of 4,100 sqm. Manufacturers of food
processing machines, packaging and labelling technologies,
cooling and refrigeration technologies came from Belarus,
Austria, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania,
Netherlands, Ukraine, Poland, Russia and the United States.
Especially, dairy and meat industry in Belarus displays a high
demand of new machines and equipment. The market in direct
neighbourhood to the EU is very interesting for the food
industries and suppliers for these branches.
