FEFCO appoints head

Mrs Angelika Christ was unanimously chosen by the board of directors of FEFCO and will take up
her position on 1st June. She takes over from Mr. Anders Hildeman of SCA who has been
acting Secretary General since Wim Hoebert left the federation on 1st February 2007. For the
past ten years Mrs Christ (54) has led the German Corrugated Board Association (VDW) in
her function as Director General. Originally from Cologne (Germany) she graduated in
Economics from the University of Cologne in1979 and worked for Association of German
Chemical Industries (VCI), Frankfurt, for 16 years.
Mrs Christ was already closely involved in the work of FEFCO, and became
Treasurer in 2003. Her extensive experience in association work, her knowledge of the
industry and her enthusiasm to take up the challenge all bode well for the future of
