Romanian beer company sees growth
United Romanian Breweries Bereprod (URBB) reported a 15% increase in beer sales in 2006 while its business figure grew 30% compared to the previous year, a company press release says.
URBB, with a portfolio that spans from Tuborg to Holsten and from Carlsberg to Guinness and Kilkenny, expects a further 20% rise of sales this year, company head Shachar Shaine says.
URBB invested 15 million USD to double its production capacity last year. Further development would bring the total of investments to over 20 million USD this year.
