The market is stabilized by a relatively stable growth. Kazanorgsyntez is the main supplier of cast HDPE brands in the Russian market, today.

The last year’s cut of supplies from Budennovsk and Kazan to the domestic market was not fully compensated by the growth of import (the leaders in terms of import supplies are Shurtanskiy Gas-Chemical Plant, Samsung and Hyundai Petrochemical), which, in the opinion of mrcplast.ru, restrained the development of the sector of PE injection molding goods.

It is difficult to combine manufacturers of injection molding goods into some homogeneous groups; nevertheless, it is possible to mark out companies that invested the biggest amounts into their own production: Alkoa C-S-I Vostok, Alpla, Polymerbyt, Brit, Izhevsk Plastics Plant, Bericap.

The lack cast PE production capacities in the Russian Federation will somewhat impede the development of this sector in 2007 as well. According to our estimations, the PE consumption in the sector of injection molding will be increasing in average by 9% a year during 2007-2010.
