Slovnaft launches PE and PP business
Slovakian company Slovnaft has completed the divestment of its petro-technical department into an independent company.The new firm, called Slovnaft Petrochemicals, s.r.o. and belonging entirely to Slovnaft, began operations on 1 july 2006. Its main activities is the production of petrochemical products, in particular polyethylene and polypropylene.
Slovnaft’s petrochemical business thus continues through its its new daughter company, which will operate within the Hungarian national oil company MOL Group and with the firm TVK Plc.
