The Wilden Group further extends its product portfolio in the Cosmetics business area. Following the successful establishment of the airless System Wilden Prestige™ on the market, Wilden now introduces the new airless system Wilden Premium. With a more fashionable shape and smaller dosing quantities, it is primarily designed for skin care and make-up product groups.

Just like the Wilden Prestige™ dispenser, the new patented system Wilden Premium is an airless system: the outlet nozzle is sealed with a membrane providing optimum product protection against contamination and drying. Franz Utz, head of the Wilden BeautyPack™ business unit of the Wilden Group, explains the functionality of the dispenser: “The membrane closes the opening nozzle of the dispenser, preventing the dispensed quantity from flowing back into the storage reservoir. This enhances the lifetime of air-sensitive ingredients like enzymes, proteins or vitamins and keeps the quality of the product for the longest possible period”. Furthermore, the dispenser allows an exact dosing of very small product quantities. The surface of the Soft Touch header provides extremely convenient handling and comfortable surface feel to the user.

The new Wilden Premium dispenser is designed for volumes of 15ml, 30ml and 50ml and therefore best suited for skin care and make-up products. Its construction is designed for a very simple and cost-efficient top-side filling. The system with container and dispenser head is delivered in separate assemblies. A new dosing technique has been developed especially for the dosing pump. It is completely metal-free and facilitates dosing quantities from 0.4ml to 0.5ml. If wanted, the dosing volume can be modified and reduced to 0.2ml. Wilden has also developed a variant of the Wilden Premium dispenser which uses a bag instead of the conventional product container and thus is suited for highly sensitive ingredients.

The construction of the dispenser offers a very high degree of design freedom to customers from the cosmetics industry. For example, the two-colored head piece can be individually tuned to any product. Even color, volume and refinement of the dispenser can be varied. For the surface decoration, we can apply screen printing, sleeving, lacquering, or foil stamping techniques.
