Developing PET in Regensburg

Engineer Dr. Otto Appel and his team of four have significant expertise in the areas of PET packaging
and brand marketing.
Each contributing 8-15 years of development and marketing experience, the team members have
devoted themselves to the all-round development and design of beverage packaging. tecPET innovation
is a marketing and technology-focused design and engineering office, as well as a practice-oriented
international constultancy. Its main areas of work are add-ons to existing product ranges, product
updates and new product launches. The company provides advice to customers and project
management services during their development processes.
tecPET innovation features state-of-the-art CAD tools, and their R&D Centre will be complete by the end
of this year. The work in the R&D Centre, which is equipped with HUSKY and NISSEI ASB machines,
amongst others, and the quality control of practical applications form the main priorities of the company’s
process-related and technological consultancy and development services in preform manufacturing and
stretch blow moulding.
tecPET innovation’s main industries are the beverage industry (carbonised soft drinks, mineral water, fruit
juice, milk and milk-based drinks, beer, etc.), and cosmetics, household and health care products.The
development of small containers manufactured on Nissei ASB machines is one of the team’s favourite
activities.
As a consulting partner, tecPET innovation provides advice on all current and strategic issues concerning
the filling and PET packaging industry. This includes support for companies who are, for example, facing
difficult decisions about investing in their own preform production.
