Safety award for Mondi
Ron Traill, Managing Director of Mondi Packaging Paper Steti, and Vladimir Sevcik, Managing Director of Mondi Packaging Ružomberok, were both awarded silver certificates of safety excellence in the large and small business unit categories respectively. This is the second successive year that Steti takes home this award.These awards recognise the two mills’ outstanding performances in the field of safety and pay tribute to both management teams’ enthusiasm and commitment in successfully inculcating the safety message of “target zero” to all their employees. During the Anglo American audit process, both sites were specifically commended for their strong and genuine leadership commitment towards safety management, their sound risk management practices and their excellent safety management systems and processes. Mondi CEO, David Hathorn has congratulated both winning teams, noting that “this recognition further serves to reinforce the high benchmark standards that these mills have set for the rest of the Mondi group”.
